10. carelulu
The idea for CareLuLu emerged when Jen and Patrick, like many other parents, struggled to find the right daycare for their two daughters. They quickly learned that many child care programs either don't have a website, or offer incomplete information. To get a true feel of each child care provider, they had to go through the hassle of calling each one, and then scheduling a visit. After dozens of calls to child care providers, Jen and Patrick ended up visiting 16 daycares to finally find the one they loved!
The problem was obvious -- parents were unable to easily shop around before spending endless hours visiting each potential child care provider. After experiencing the problem first-hand, Jen and Patrick were set on creating a solution. They teamed up with Gabriel, an extremely experienced web developer, to create what is now CareLuLu.
